On the 4^th and 5^th of March it took place at the Goya Theatre in Madrid the Biennial FACE International Meeting “Latest Developments on FACE Treatment Mechanics” organized by the FACE group. The Meeting was a great a success and there were more than 400 doctors from over 30 different countries such as: Argentina, Chile, Croatia, USA, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Lebanon, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Turkey.

The work philosophy of the FACE group is becoming deeply rooted among Orthodontists from all over the word and that is why this successful Meeting has counted on the presence of highly well-known speakers such as: Dr. Domingo Martín (Spain), Dr. Renato Cocconi (Italy), Dr. Jorge Ayala (Chile) or Dr. Gonzalo Gutiérrez (Chile), among many others that participated during those two days.

Due to the theater’s facilities and its big screen, all attendees enjoyed speakers’ presentations with high quality. FACE philosophy and their working procedures were shown in some optimally structured presentations. Dr. Domingo Martín for example, showed patients’ photographs with stable outcomes for over 30 years.

After the first block of conferences, attendees and speakers had the opportunity to discuss during the cocktail while listening to “Canal Street Jazz Band” music group organized by Forestadent.

Dr. Ronal Roth (USA) and Dr. Robert Williams (USA), two recognized professionals in Orthodontics, set the bases of the FACE philosophy, which offers a comprehensive study for a good treatment taking into account dental, oclusal, aesthetic and functional aspects as well as multidisciplinary treatments.
