  • He holds dual appointments in the Divisions of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville
  • He serves as Chief of the Section of Head and Neck Surgery, Director of the Microvascular reconstructive surgery fellowship and residency program director for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery
  • He received his B.A. in Biology from Boston University in 1993
  • In 1997, he obtained a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine
  • He received his medical degree in 2000 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine
  • He completed an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as well
  • Upon completion of his residency in 2003, he began a 2 year combined Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Maryland College of Medicine
  • He completed his fellowship training in 2005 and was hired as an Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville where he has remained until the present time
  • Author of numerous scientific articles
  • He has participated as a speaker in international courses and seminars
