Course direction

The course is directed by Dr. Vicent Quilis-Quesada, Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia, with an outstanding international career. Part I: Microsurgical Anatomy
You will gain an in-depth understanding of the sulci, gyri, ventricles and their surgical relevance through hands-on dissections and case-based discussions.
Part II: Endoscopic Neurosurgery
Dive into advanced endonasal approaches to the skull base and pituitary region with hands-on sessions and live case discussions.
Part III: Microneurosurgery
Master the most advanced surgical techniques, from pterional and pretemporal approaches to cavernous sinus dissections, applied to vascular and skull base microsurgery.

State-of-the-art material: Each station will have a set of neurosurgical instruments, a latex-injected head and a complete brain for anatomical dissection (2 specimens per station).
